What is an emotions color wheel??

An emotions color wheel is used to help us visualize and connect colors to our emotions. This isn't to say that the assigned colors on the wheel are the exact colors for that exact emotion. Like everything else in art, we can bend the rules and do what we want! 

So, yes, do we typically assign red to anger or blue to sad? It's what we have been taught but when creating art, it is ultimately up to us to decide what goes and if you decide that anger is actually yellow to you and a piece you are creating, then yellow it is!
